Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz

Posse up because they are back! Each year there is that one summer hit from that one hot group that churns out a bass bottom club anthem that sets the streets afire and what better group to strike the hip-hop match yet again than BME Recoding trio. Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz. Infiltrating radio airwaves and stereo systems throughout the South, the southern born and bred clique is releasing their ghetto slang and bouncy bass-bottom club music on a universally appealing level. Comprised of ATLiens, Lil Jon, Lil Bo, and Big Sam, this head bobbing crew is qualified to rock the nation with their brand of funkified jams specifically concocted to take any party to the next plateau of hype. Atlanta has quickly garnered the reputation as the premier breeding ground for fiery underground talent and no one knows that better that native producer Jonathon "Lil Jon" Smith who has worked with So So Def helmsman and mutli-platinum artist/producer Jermaine Dupri. Formally an A&R rep for SO SO Def, Lil Jon has moved on to an independent project. In having blessed the culture with an explosive debut album, "Who U Wit, Get Crunk: Da Album" (Ichiban Records, 1996), this independent signed group is slated for sensational success with their follow-up sophomore project, "We Still Crunk", on B.M.E. Recordings. Funky bas lines zip through spirited lyrics as infectious hooks get the crowd hype, which is the musical formula that continues to establish Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz as true pioneers if underground hip-hop just South of the Mason Dixon Line. That are trendsetter within the market if making music that shakes and tears the club up, bit they are also known for producing sure-fire hits for the growing "get crunk" hip-hop heads. Lil jon who represents the SWATS (Southwest Atlanta), met East Decatur residents Big Sam and Lil Bo in 1996 when they collectively joined forces to form Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz. "I met Lil Bo and Big Sam through Playa Poncho. Playa Poncho made the original club anthem 'What's Up! What's Up!' He introduced us before he went on to develop his solo career." After their union, Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz embarked on a mission they have yet to regret. On the heels of their first album, which included the smash singles "Shawty Freak a Lil Sumthin" and the "shout out" anthem, "Who U Wit," Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz have recruited some of the hottest producers to endorse the tracks on their "We Stil Crunk." With guest appearances from the legendary self-proclaimed player Too $hort, labels Chyna and Bo Hagon of Full-Time Family Tree, "WE Still Crunk" is guaranteed to live up to its boastful title.
